TCS resumed!

Welcome back! Hope you guys didn't party too much during the break because TCS is back with a zest of fi-yahh!

Moving on, TCS will resume gatherings on 4th August, Wednesday, 5-7pm at E6.15. Also we have great plans lined up for August.. Here we go!!

As mentioned before, the chosen theme for August is Theology of The Body which was founded by the late Pope John Paul II. Wondering what's it about? Here's a short excerpt from the official website:

The 'Theology of the Body' is Pope John Paul II's integrated vision of the human person - body, soul, and spirit. As he explains, the physical human body has a specific meaning and is capable of revealing answers regarding fundamental questions about us and our lives:

• Is there a real purpose to life and if so, what is it?
• Why were we created male and female?
• Does it really matter if we are one sex or another?
• Why were man and woman called to communion from the beginning?
• What does the marital union of a man and woman say to us about God and his plan for our lives?
• What is the purpose of the married and celibate vocations?
• What exactly is "Love"?
• Is it truly possible to be pure of heart?"

MOVIE EVENING

For this month, we'll be doing things a little different by starting off with a movie called "Bella" (Nope, no the Bella from Twilight!). So come, watch this awesome love story by Catholic producers and actors which shows much about loving someone. Bring your snacks and a friend along! ;)

TALK
This month, we'll be having a guest speaker who's especially passionate on this theme to give us a talk on this theme. A sneak preview on what he will be covering: God's plan for our sexuality and how we can embrace it through chastity. So do come and ask all the questions that you've been longing to ask!

DAILY PRAYER GATHERINGS
We'll just take a short break during the day from the busy lives we have, to just be at peace and lift up our prayers of thanksgiving or petitions, or just pray in the silence of our hearts.

Recruitment Drive (Need Help!)
Student Development Hub will be organizing a Recruitment Drive for the July Intake students, and TCS will be participating in it. Therefore, we need help manning the booth! Don't worry if you are new to TCS or haven't been able to join us in the past! If you'd like to help out, please do e-mail us. This will be a great time to get to know each other better :)
