Accountability

September is about to arrive and we'lll be having the theme of ACCOUNTABILITY! Woots!

We're starting the month with a talk by a guest speaker who hails from Miri and is back from UK, and has a passion for Christ! He's one whacky guy with a crazy sense of humor and loves stand up comedies!

As usual, the flow starts of with a short ice-breaker, Praise & Worship, and the Talk!

So do come and learn more about this value of Accountability, which also interestingly, makes up one of our foundations in Taylor's Catholic Society! And have a great time!

Camp Up! Let's GO!

St Thomas More (STM) is organizing their very first Lifeline Camp this year! And the camp is drawing nearer and nearer! Woots! 

For those who managed to catch the bus to Church last Sunday, I'm sure you guys saw the interesting and entertaining publicity stunts for the camp aye! From 'Oprah's' funny face cut-out and hair-do to 'Larry King's' suspenders! 

In case you're wondering what's Lifeline about, it's a ministry for College and Young Adults! It's comprised mostly of college students from Taylor's, Sunway, and Monash who meet every Friday for talks, small group sharings, FUN nights, and the like. Lifeline is a ministry which TCS would strongly encourage all of you to visit and perhaps join! In fact, STM Lifeline and of course, by God's grace, provided the foundation for the establishment of our very own Taylor's Catholic Society here in Lakeside!  

So this month, STM Lifeline is organizing their camp with the following details:

Theme: 'Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?'
Date: 27th-29th August 2010 (27th is a Selangor public holiday. No classes!)

Venue : Villa Dominic, Genting Highlands

Fees : RM120 (Early Bird) RM140 (Late Bird)

We've got GREAT news! The Parish of St Thomas more will be providing free TRANSPORTATION (to and fro) to students to go for MASSevery SUNDAY! Woots! So get on the free wheels to church 15th August 2010 onwards!

PICK-UP TIME (Please be punctual)

• Casa Subang (USJ) : 10.00AM
• Taylor's CPU/ADP (Former Business School in SS15) : 10.15AM
• Ridzuan Condo/Suriamas/Subang Ville/Aman : 10.30AM
• Taylor's Lakeside Campus : 10.15AM (Usual Bus Stop inside campus @ Level 1 Student Life Center area)
• Sunway Villa & Sunway Court : 10.20AM (Please wait at the bus stop along the main road outside Sunway Court)
• Sun-U Residence : 10.40AM

The bus will pick-up after Mass and drop-off at the same points.

* Note that pick-up is not limited to where you're staying at i.e if you are staying in Mentari Court or Aman, you CAN catch the bus from Ridzuan/ Suriamas.

* Please check with the bus driver if the bus is going to church, so you don't end up somewhere else!

1. Transportation is NOT provided by Taylor's University College or Taylor's Catholic Society. It is provided by the Parish of St Thomas More (STM).
2. We usually do a 'love offering' collection in the bus after mass to help cover the cost of transportation, which is borne entirely by STM. As the word 'love offering' indicates, there is no fixed amount that you are required to contribute.

Looking forward to seeing you guys in Church on Sundays! The youths usually sit around a common area at the front of the Church, so come join us! The youths of Sunway and Monash have already joined the Catholic community in the area. So let us from Taylor's be a part of this community too! :)

hii people!!

was good to see YOU at the recruitment drive yesterday! =) for all who helped out at the booth, may Jesus bless u KAO KAO. for all that came by the booth, signed up your names and introduced yourself. well, we cant wait to see you again! hehe..

we had a total of 23 new sign ups and a community of them are staying in Lakeside residences. for all the first semester people, we'd like to extend our warmest WELCOME to Taylors! and Malaysia. we malaysian's are obsessed over food. YUMM. so be ready to put on some pounds while studying here. teehehe.
